Piering Systems was established in 1970 by James E. Thompson. His idea
was to help people in the Dallas/Ft. Worth and surrounding areas with
the problems of their foundation movement due to the ever changing North
Central Texas soil.
His son, R.S. (Sam) Thompson began working with him in the late 1970's and still runs the business today. Mr. Thompson has left us to join the Lord. |
A-1 Piering Systems is family owned and operated. We do not contract our foundation work out to anyone; the owner is on site at every leveling process. We do not leave this all important area to anyone else. All of our work is guaranteed and we will be glad to provide you with references in the surrounding area. | |
At A-1 Piering Systems we are committed to Service, Quality, Customer Satisfaction and Reliability.
The owner (Sam Thompson) of A-1 Piering Systems will meet with you at your convenience to determine your needs. He will be your contact person at all times and is the person that will design the best resolution for your home’s foundation needs. There is also a qualified Crew Supervisor present at all times and he is in constant contact with the owner of A-1. Sam Thompson will be present when the lifting process of your home is being done; this is not left for someone else to supervise.
Our commitment is to provide the best possible solution to your particular foundation needs with a minimum of inconvenience to you and your family.
Our work is in compliance with FHA/VA guidelines and local government requirements.
Our employees are trained, experienced and responsible; most have been with A-1 Piering Systems 10-20 years.
We manufacture our steel piers at our plant located in Cedar Hill, Texas. We have experienced personnel overseeing the manufacturing of the piers and fittings. We maintain strict quality control procedures and guidelines in the manufacturing plant.
A-1 Piering Systems provides a Lifetime Warranty (this is written into our contract) on the work we perform and the materials that we use in our systems. Our Lifetime Warranty is transferable at no charge to new owners should you sell your home. We are proud of the work we perform and we maintain a very high standard.
As a family owned and operated business for over 3 decades, we are extremely sensitive to the ever changing soil conditions in Texas, especially in the North Texas and Central Texas areas.
A-1 Piering Systems will provide a list of references. These can be from various North Texas & Central Texas areas or from your specific zip code.

WE DO NOT HIRE CONTRACT LABORERS. ALL WORK IS PERFORMED BY FULL TIME EMPLOYEES OF A-1 PIERING SYSTEMS.
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO HIRE A MASONARY COMPANY FOR BRICK AND/OR MORTAR REPAIR WE PERFORM THIS AS PART OF SERVICE TO YOU.
